HiCal Deactivation or Destruction | Firearms Gunsmith Service

High Caliber Services provides professional firearm deactivation and destruction services as part of our standard gunsmithing services.

These services are available for eligible firearms requiring permanent deactivation or destruction, including firearms being surrendered under applicable amnesty, buyback, surrender, or other government-directed programs.

Service Options

Deactivation – $600 per firearm
Destruction – $300 per firearm

Select the required service from the options above and select the quantity of firearms requiring service when placing your order.

Shipping Your Firearm

Customers may ship their firearm to High Caliber Services in accordance with all applicable laws and requirements governing the transportation and shipment of firearms.

Before shipping:

• Ensure the firearm is completely unloaded.
• Securely package the firearm in a plain, unmarked box that does not indicate or identify the contents.
• Include two copies of your completed deactivation/destruction forms inside the package.
• Ensure all required customer information is completed on the forms before shipping.

Please follow all applicable requirements for the lawful transportation and shipment of firearms. Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipment complies with applicable laws and carrier requirements.

Drop-Off

Customers may also drop off their firearm at our location.

For in-person drop-off:

• Ensure the firearm is completely unloaded.
• Bring the firearm securely contained in a case, box, or other suitable container.
• Provide two copies of your completed deactivation/destruction forms at the time of drop-off.
• Ensure your required information is completed on the forms before arriving.

Important Information

Placing an order online begins the service and intake process. The firearm must be physically received by High Caliber Services before the requested work can be completed.

All firearms will be handled and processed in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and requirements.

Destruction – $300 per firearm
