  Under new management, had an amazing experience re-visiting the store. Few years back was very sceptical about entering the store due to poor employees, went in today and had a great conversation with the new team and am super excited to shop for my needs here! Has definitely brought a happier and safer environment back into the store!! Looking forward to sending friends here to buy stuff, I will continue to shop here as long as they are running the place!

  Husband, son and I completed the restricted/non-restricted licence course this weekend. Brilliant time, lots of fun, and Dave was excellent in teaching everything we needed to know about the care and safe use of firearms. Class was always engaging, and the time flew so fast! Highly recommend HiCal to anyone wanting to obtain their licence!

One of my favorite gun shops in the valley. If i ever need some weird small part for a gun i know to go to them because every time i think "no way anyone stocks this part, its too weird and obscure" they always end up actually having it when nobody else will. The staff is always super helpful and polite and have the knowledge to help me figure out whatever gun related issues I'm having when i come in with questions or concerns.

  Amazing team of knowledgable men. I have an avid little hunting 11 year old boy who would spend every minute of everyday in this place. My son asks the team a million questions and the time they spend on him, supporting his love and respect for Guns and hunting is by far one of the things I'm most grateful for. They truly care about what's best for the customer, not the money. A breath of fresh air, and I will not purchase anything from anywhere else ( unless I have no choice) to support just how amazing, respectful and knowledgeable this team is!! LOVE THIS PLACE

Brad is very knowledgeable and shows interest to help with all my questions. I took my pal and rpal here and Dave was my instructor and in my opinion a very good teacher and friendly guy. I learned a lot and have no reason to shop anywhere else! Also I am looking forward to taking private lesson with Dave so I can really learn to shoot.

The guys at hi cal are the best. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable in every aspect. Ive had smithing done on one of my rifles and the quality is top notch. I just bought a rifle from them and they decked it out just how i wanted it. I cant say enough good thing about them.

Did my pal course here and it was easy and fun. Dave and his staff made the experience one to remember lol best monet I've spent yet.

Completed the CORE last wknd and the PAL/RPAL this wknd. Loved it! TBH I was initially intimidated to take the course as I've never held a gun before but I had a fun time and felt really comfortable after all. Lots of great stories to help with memory recall and also make the theory parts not so dry; super friendly team and very knowledgable. Dave I got lots of great comments on the pants!! You're a fabulous instructor �
